Jessica Morgan is an Equine Veterinarian with 26 years experience in lameness evaluation, lameness diagnostics, equine diagnostic imaging, regenerative medicine and rehabilitation, equine acupuncture & chiropractic, farriery and equine nutrition. She is a Certified Member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology, where she serves as an equine musculoskeletal ultrasound instructor, teaching equine veterinarians how to ultrasound horses world-wide. She is an FEI Official Veterinarian for Dressage, Drivng, Eventing and Jumping. She has competed in multiple equestrian disciplines throughout her life and understands the rigors of competitive horse sport.
Dallas Morgan is an American Farriers Association Certified Journeyman Farrier with 34 years as a professional Farrier. He was a member of the American Farriers Team in 2000, competing extensively throughout the US, Canada and England. He has traveled as a lecturer, clinician and judge of Farriery internationally. He primarily shoes sport horses and supports Veterinarians with shoeing prescriptions for sport injury. As a life-long competitive rider, and growing up in the outback of Australia on a horse, he brings a true sense of horsemanship to his daily work.
Dallas and Jessica previously owned and operated an Equine Veterinary and Farriery Hospital in the finger lakes region of upstate New York for 20 years before moving to Aiken SC in 2022. The beautifully landscaped 60 acre property hosted a 6000 sq ft equine hospital and state of the art Farriers forge and shop, where they regularly hosted educational sessions for Veterinarians and Farriers. They were honored to mentor (and very proud of) an accomplished group of young Farriers through an apprentice program. The grounds were home to a lameness examination surface, an olympic sized dressage court, a cross country field BN through Prelim, a grass stadium jumping field and a mile of groomed trotting trail through the woods. They are quite pleased to be in Aiken, where the cross country fields are plentiful, and horse sport is strong!
They are happy to work with the team you already have in place. Dr. Morgan can work with your Farrier. Dallas can work with your Veterinarian. It's about each individual horse and the team it takes to support them.
