Morgan Equine Veterinary & Farrier Hospital Tour
Situated on 60 acres on top of a hill in the finger lakes region of upstate New York, we are a privately owned hospital with a "feels like home" atmosphere. Mostly because we live, work and play here.
We are lucky to have a dedicated lameness lunging area, a dressage court, cross country course, show jumping field and a mile of groomed trails.
Have a look around, then come visit us!

Veterinary Examination Room
Primary examination and treatment area. These stocks were built to accommodate any horse. From Mini to Draft horse and everything in between. They were also designed specifically for dentistry and safety for horses and people.
Hospital Stables
The hospital stable has 4 European inspired stalls that are 16*16. Each stall has an exterior view that horses enjoy. We have two specialty stalls. One is specific for fluid therapy and the other can sling an adult horse.
Front Office and Conference Room
Dynamic Examination Areas
See the Cross Country Page to explore the grounds.
The Farriers Shop
Some of the most famous shoe makers in the world have their shoes up in our shop. Dallas has put together a world class shop with the very best equipment available. Horses and clients feel at home in the stable area.
The shop has been host to many farriers clinics. It gets noisy here on those days, but it makes farriers happy.

Visitors, please read:
1. If you are flying, the best chance of getting a ride to and from the airport, is to fly into Ithaca NY (ITH).
2. You are responsible for all of your meals. We can usually get you to the grocery store once you are here. Eat a good breakfast and be ON TIME to leave or start the day. Be prepared to pack and bring your own lunch or snacks with you. Dallas typically does not stop for lunch. Dr. Morgan will stop eventually, but it is strongly recommended to bring a drink and snack. Most days end around 6 pm if you are on the road.
3. Bring layers of clothing and shoes that are waterproof.
4. Girls; no mid riff please. Fellas; no back riff please. If you plan on riding while you are here, bring your boots or half chaps, we likely have a helmet you can use.
5. No need to bring hand tools unless you are wanting to forge. Forging time is typically after hours on your own. You are free to use the shop as you like. We ask that you cover the expense of propane and steel that you use. Dallas is happy to evaluate what you have produced the next day.
6. Bring your apron. Be prepared to push a broom, pull, prep and finish and work.
7. Study up on limb anatomy. There are plenty of reference books available here, but start thinking about proper terminology before you come. We use the big words.
8. We expect that you will leave the studio in the same or better condition.
