clinics.

Observation
Room
Got
Kids? Got a Spouse? No problem! We have a spot just for them. Kids have
games and toys and Spouses have a comfy chair and satellite TV all in
an area that allows you to keep an eye on them whether you are in the
Farriers shop or in the Veterinary examination room.
Farrier
Shop
The Shop houses an impressive shoe collection by some of the world’s
most famous shoemakers. The other walls are simply lined with some of
the finest equipment and tools available.

At
our winter Farrier clinics, we can accommodate 5 Farriers with exceptional
forging equipment!
Shoeing Area: Two cross tie bays make up the shoeing area. Each developed
with safety and accessibility in mind.
Stable
Four
European inspired stalls, each with a view, make up the hospitals primary
stables

The roomy stalls are in use by horses that visit Morgan Equine on a day
trip or for those that need an extended stay. One stall is equipped with
a sling to allow down horses to stand with assistance.

Grounds

Situated on almost 60 acres of woods and ponds, between the towns of Locke
and Groton in the Finger Lakes region, Morgan Equine has a fantastic fruit
orchard, summer garden, a blazed trail with natural jumps and coming soon,
a dressage court and covered round pen.
We use a draft horse to log the wooded areas, using forestry management
techniques that benefit the growth and habitat of our hardwood stand.
The logged wood is used to heat the entire hospital by an outdoor furnace
during the winter. You can see that our Draft horse Sydney had his work
cut out for him!

Studio
Apartment
Morgan Equine has a western themed efficiency studio apartment complete
with TV, shelves of forging and horse videos, refrigerator, microwave,
toaster oven, sink and shower. The bunk style sleeping quarters are perfect
for an overnight stay during our winter education clinics. Reserve the
studio early, as it is a comfortable favorite!
We also offer the studio to visiting students, Farriers, Veterinarians
and clients who travel long distances to Morgan Equine.
