Choose the primary part of the USA that you primarily shoe horses in. If you shoe in more than one area, like the north east in the summer and south east in the winter, choose the area where you have the most veterinary and farrier interactions.
Indicate how many years you have been actively shoeing horses full time. Full time is considered preparing 12 FEET (example, 3 horses, trimmed or shod in any combination) or more 4 or more days per week for 40 or more weeks per year. Part time Farriers please estimate the years based on those parameters.
Working with Veterinarians
Working with a Veterinarian means there has been communication between the Farrier, Vet and Client on a particular horse. If you have not had the opportunity to work with a Veterinarian on a case, answer the following questions as you envision your ideal Vet/Farrier interaction.
