In Memory of our Equine Family
The memories in our heart will never be forgotten.
Brenda with Dandy
My trail riding buddies. Dandy was a good ol' boy. Brenda is a good ol'girl. I miss trotting through the woods with them.
Kandace with Cisco
Wayn Casino “Cisco” – A Tribute
An inspiration and a joy; constant companion and patience unfurled
A young girl and her backyard treasure; a desert horse in a cowboy world
Memories provide nothing green to see but alfalfa and Ol’ GMC;
Innovation, ambition and hope funded dreams;
Concrete dust, gallon buckets and PVC; rusty-red barrels etched permanent memories;
Overdrive was elusive, pole weaving and field racing existed mutually inclusive;
Summer trails, ponds, and division adventures; high-points, trophies and sno-cones for quenchers.
Perfect tiny ears, attentive for soft-spoken words; warm breath evaporated adolescent angst and fears.
Liquid chocolate eyes and nostrils that devoured the wind; lightning bolts, cat reflexes, symphony perfectly disciplined.
All I asked and more-- you gave; your efforts inevitable, perpetual, and tireless.
Till your last breath, you valiantly strove to please; your legs skimmed the fields, and my heart felt the breeze.
Your lessons were unspoken but shall resonate in my heart for eternity; a tattoo-- forever with me, forever in me, kindred spirits are we.
Until we meet again, my loyal friend; you are sorely missed. In the future, as I gaze upon your legacy, be assured, bittersweet reminiscences shall persist.
In tribute to my Arabian king: May your pastures be evergreen, and your hooves forever winged.
