About Us

Jessica Morgan, DVM

As a busy Minnesota youth, she showed horses and dogs, and participated in High School Rodeo. Enrolling in horseshoeing school while still an undergraduate was a natural step to further her knowledge of the equine foot. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Industry from Kansas State University then graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. An internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at a private equine practice led her to Southern California. She remained in California, operating a solo equine ambulatory practice for six years before opening Morgan Equine Veterinary and Farrier Hospital with Dallas Morgan in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Her continuing education efforts have led her to complete specialty veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic and dentistry courses. Currently, she is attending the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology continuing education series that leads to examination and special membership within the society. The focus of the group is Ultrasonography, Radiography, Anatomy and MRI diagnostic procedures that advance the understanding of lameness in horses. email Jessica Morgan

Dallas W. Morgan, CJF, Dip.WCF

A native Australian, he grew up in the outback riding and shoeing horses that worked on cattle stations. Dallas came to the United States to attend a formal horseshoeing program and graduated with a Horseshoeing Instructors Certificate. He holds Certified Journeyman Farrier status with the American Farriers Association and is recognized by the Worshipful Company of Farriers in England. As attending Farrier at Kansas State University for six years he worked extensively with hospitalized therapeutic cases. While in California he primarily shod jumpers and dressage horses.

In 2000, he was a member of the American Farriers Team, where he competed through out the US, Canada and England. He continues to be a clinician and judge of Farriery throughout the US. In New York, at Morgan Equine Veterinary and Farrier Hospital, Dallas sees therapeutic cases in the hospital as well as travels to private stables to shoe horses. email Dallas Morgan
